Napoli have reached an agreement with Manchester United for the signing of Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay, according to reports in Italy.
Napoli have agreed a fee of €30.5m for the 27-year-old midfielder, but according to Gianluca Di Marzio the player still has some unresolved issues to resolve at United.
The Red Devils academy product is entering the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, which expires on June 30, 2025.
McTominay is not the only Scotland midfielder Napoli are considering a move for, with Brighton’s Billy Gilmour also a summer target, but there is a €2m gap between the two clubs’ valuations.
Brighton boss Fabian Herzeler is also keen to keep Gilmour at the club, with the player starting in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Manchester United and coming on as a substitute in the 3-0 rout of Everton.
According to reports on Sunday, Napoli will immediately look to sign either McTominay or Gilmour, with the former likely to be the first, before turning their สมัคร ufabet attentions to the other once they are able to sell one of their squad.
The Red Devils have brought in Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui this summer as the INEOS era gets underway at Old Trafford.
While Brandon Williams, Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial and Omari Forson have all left on free transfers, while Donny van de Beek, Alvaro Carreras, Facundo Pellistri, Willy Kambwala, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Greenwood departed for fees.
