Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is happy with his midfield options and has no plans to make any new signings.

‘Ufabet Sport’ reported on Tuesday that Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has decided not to sign any more midfielders as the German coach is content with his current options.

Barcelona have been link with a number of number six players since Sergio Busquets left the club in the summer of 2023, but the Blaugrana have now ended their pursuit with Flick content with the options he has at his disposal, particularly with 17-year-old midfielder Marc Bernal returning from injury.

Flick has Marc Casado, Eric Garcia and Andreas Christensen as his No.6 options and the German will have more options following the recoveries of Frenkie de Jong, Pablo Martin Paez Gavira Gavi and Fermin Lopez. 

Barcelona sporting director Anderson Deco was previously report to be interest in either Chelsea duo Romeo Lavia or Cairney Chukwuemeka, ยูฟ่าเบท but no new signings are expect anytime soon. 

Flick recently blocked a move for N’Golo Kanté to focus on the youngsters’ development, and there is very little doubt at this point that the coach is prepare to start the season with Casadó and Bernal as part of the first team dynamic and use the versatility of the likes of Pedri, Ilkay Gündogan and Christensen until De Jong and Gavi are available.
